Russia: We Shot Down 5 Ukrainian Drones South of Moscow

Russia indicated today, Friday, that "its air defenses intercepted five Ukrainian drones south of Moscow in less than an hour." The Ministry of Defense stated, "Four drones were intercepted over the Kaluga region, with the fifth one being destroyed within the Moscow region." Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin mentioned that "debris from one of the drones fell in the city of Podolsk, but there are no reports of injuries or damage." Drone attacks in Moscow have decreased since the summer, when they repeatedly targeted a commercial area in the capital, leading to the closure of airports multiple times.
