Lebanon... Work Meeting to Follow Up on "Expo Qatar" Preparations

Today, a work meeting was held at the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Chamber of Commerce to follow up on the preparations for "Expo Qatar." The meeting was attended by former Minister of Economy Mohammed Choucair, Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture Louis Lahoud, Director General of the Ministry of Economy and Trade Mohammed Abu Haidar, Chairman of the Sidon and South Chamber Mohammed Saleh, and Vice President of the Zahle and Bekaa Chamber Munir Al-Tini. It was agreed "to reinforce the partnership between the public and private sectors and to keep the meetings open to take steps that would ensure Lebanon's successful participation in this important international exhibition," according to the statement issued by the attendees.
