Boushkian, Delegated by Mikati, Visits Victims of Zahle Traffic Accident Accompanied by Hashimi

Minister of Industry in the caretaker government, George Boushkian, was tasked by Prime Minister Najib Mikati to visit the victims of the traffic accident that occurred yesterday (Friday) in Zahle. Boushkian began his tour at the Lebanese French Hospital, where he was welcomed by the hospital's board chairman, Salim Asi. During his visit to one of the injured, accompanied by MP Bilal Hashimi, Boushkian reassured that “all the injured have recovered and the majority are out of the hospitals.” Boushkian confirmed that "President Mikati followed every detail of this incident and instructed the hospitals to receive them," highlighting the role of Beqaa Governor Judge Kamal Abu Joudeh, who rapidly followed up on the incident on-site, checking on the injured and providing the necessary directives. He also praised the efforts of the security forces, civil defense, the Red Cross, and the Zahle Electricity Company. Boushkian continued to visit the injured in the other hospitals in Beqaa. For his part, MP Hashimi thanked the Prime Minister for his "swift action," wishing recovery for all the injured and calling for "maintenance of the lighting on the Dahar al-Baydar road and other roads in Beqaa, except for the city of Zahle, which is illuminated by Zahle Electricity around the clock and is the only one that lights the roads."
