Title: Europe Offers Financial Aid to Egypt to Curb Refugee Flow

The "Financial Times" reported, citing sources, that "the European Union is seeking to establish an agreement with Egypt regarding migration restrictions and financial support in relation to the escalating Israeli-Palestinian conflict." The newspaper stated, "During the summit on October 21 in Cairo, EU representatives, including European Commission Vice President Margaritis Schinas, discussed an agreement with the Egyptian side that aims to limit the flow of migrants from the Middle East to Europe. Under its terms, the EU will provide Egypt with the necessary funds to combat unemployment, which will benefit the country's economic situation and should reduce the emigration of more people from the Middle East to European countries." Additionally, sources indicated that "the migration agreement between the EU and Tunisia, signed in July of this year, could serve as a model for agreements with Egypt, as it not only addresses migration control but also provides economic support."
