The Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, received the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nicoletta Bombardieri, in his office in Yarze. They discussed the general situation in the region and developments on the southern borders. He also met with MP Akram Shehayyeb, during which they addressed the general conditions in the country. Additionally, he received the Bishop of the Archdiocese of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli for Syriac Orthodox, Bishop Michael Shamon, to discuss various matters.
