WHO: The Situation in Gaza is Worsening Every Hour

A World Health Organization official in Gaza stated today, Tuesday, that the situation in the region is worsening every hour as Israel intensifies its bombardment in the south around the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah. Richard Peeperkorn, the organization's representative in the Palestinian territories, told journalists via video link from Gaza, "The situation is getting worse every hour." He added, "The shelling is intensifying everywhere, including the southern areas of Khan Younis and Rafah."
