The British newspaper "Telegraph" reported on Thursday that football lawmakers in the International Football Association Board (FIFA) have agreed to implement the blue card in matches. The newspaper stated that "football lawmakers in FIFA have approved the application of the blue card in matches." It added that "this card means the player is suspended for 10 minutes, and if the same player receives two blue cards, it results in their permanent expulsion from the match. This rule may be implemented in the English FA Cup for the first time next season."
