International Beach Soccer Volleyball Championship in Baghdad

The International Beach Soccer Volleyball Federation has approved the hosting of the international professional championship in Baghdad on May 18, 2024, with participation from European, American, and Asian countries. The president of the Iraqi Beach Soccer Volleyball Federation, Karrar Ali Saber, stated that "the International Federation agreed to hold the World Championship for professional beach soccer volleyball in Baghdad in mid-May of this year." He added that "the federation has begun preparations for this major global event and is working professionally to ensure that Iraq is presented in a way that befits its name, with all efforts combined for the success of this important championship, especially as Iraq is now capable of hosting global championships in various sports."
