In the video, Pompeo is seen participating in a celebratory dance with several soldiers, one of whom gave him a Golani Brigade flag, which he promptly put on and continued dancing with the soldiers.
Israeli media reported that the former U.S. official visited the soldiers of the 73rd Battalion of the Israeli Armored Corps, where he was greeted with singing and dancing. Pompeo met with Israeli army soldiers and settlers to honor them, stating, "What happened on October 7 was so shocking and so sadistic that everyone continues to feel the shock everywhere. However, their capacity for resilience is truly inspiring. Every Israeli continues to sacrifice and give so much to defend their nation."
