The value of Jordan's imports of crude oil and its derivatives decreased by 17 percent during the past year. Data from the Jordanian Department of Statistics showed today, Monday, that the value of Jordan's imports of crude oil and its derivatives amounted to 2.95 billion dinars (4.1 billion dollars), which is a 17 percent decrease compared to 2022. The kingdom's bill for oil and its derivatives was approximately 3.55 billion dinars by the end of 2022. Jordan imports over 95 percent of its energy needs.
