Reports have confirmed an ongoing crisis in the Manchester United dressing room between some players and their Dutch coach Erik ten Hag. Manchester United has had a poor start to the season, winning two matches and losing three in the English Premier League, in addition to a defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Jadon Sancho was excluded from team training following his issue with ten Hag, who accused him of lacking discipline in practice, a claim that Sancho has denied. According to the British newspaper "Manchester Evening News," several Manchester United players are starting to feel frustrated by ten Hag's criticisms, as they struggle to perform well.
The report explained that some players believe ten Hag has favored other players in the team, choosing not to criticize them unlike their teammates. The newspaper added that although ten Hag avoids naming players who make mistakes publicly, he often highlights players' failures to "follow the rules" after match losses.
The report also mentioned that some players feel they have been put in a difficult position to execute ten Hag's tactical instructions, with a perception within the team that the coach's style could pose a risk due to the indefinite absence of Antony, the only player in the team who plays on the right wing with his left foot.
