Suheil al-Aarouri, Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, stated that "the resistance cannot be defeated, but will surely prevail, and the more the Israeli army enters new areas, the harder it becomes for them to exit without a price paid in the form of casualties among their soldiers and officers." He indicated in a statement that "this battle has revealed the brutal face of the United States and the world's inability to provide cover and protection for civilians and children." Al-Aarouri clarified that "the war against the United States in the region is a war against occupation, participating in the support of our people, and the battle in Gaza right now."
Regarding Hezbollah's role, he said: "There is no doubt that the performance of the resistance in Lebanon, led by Hezbollah, is distinguished and advanced. They have paid the price with more than 60 martyrs, the latest being a civilian vehicle bombed by the occupation, resulting in the deaths of three children, with their mother injured. Every day, there are funerals for martyrs in the southern suburb, in the south, in Baalbek, and everywhere." Al-Aarouri believed that "the speech of the party's Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, also came to endorse this battle, its justice, and credibility, and to defend all its positions and respond to the doubts raised."
