The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) announced today, Tuesday, that it has "temporarily halted the delivery of food assistance to northern Gaza until conditions in the Palestinian territory allow for safe distribution." The program stated in a press release, "The decision to suspend aid deliveries to northern Gaza was not taken lightly, as we realize it means further deterioration of the situation there, and that more people will face the risk of starving."
