The Russian representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, indicated that "the situation around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant remains unstable, and Ukrainian drone activity in that area continues." In a statement to Russia 24 television, Ulyanov said, "The situation is still turbulent. Thanks to the activities of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the Ukrainians halted rocket attacks on the plant on November 20, 2022, but drone activity around the plant continues even now... It has increased several times." He added, "Our specialists are neutralizing and dealing with these drones, but an emergency can occur at any moment, and the city of Energodar, where the plant's employees and their families live, is constantly targeted."
