The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanaan, congratulated on the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution. He referred to "45 years of steadfastness on the principles and teachings of authentic Muhammadan Islam, and the triumphant struggle against American hegemony and the pursuit and proclamation of truth in difficult arenas." He stated, "Iran's flag is high and will rise even more."
