The municipality of Vladivostok in the Primorye region of Russia's Far East announced the rescue of 44 fishermen from an ice floe that had drifted away in the Amur Bay. The municipality stated that an ice floe carrying 44 people was carried away from the shore due to strong winds, noting that "all 44 individuals were rescued without any casualties or injuries."
