Saudi Security Issues Statement Regarding Riyadh Incident (Video)

The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced that security patrols in the Riyadh area arrested an individual for stealing a vehicle and colliding with three other vehicles, while threatening to harm himself (suicide). The General Security published a blurred video of the incident and stated in its announcement: "Security patrols in the Riyadh area arrested a citizen for stealing a vehicle, colliding with three vehicles, attempting to flee the scene, and threatening to harm himself." The statement added: "He was stopped and legal procedures were taken against him, and he was referred to the Public Prosecution. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend those who documented and published the video content." A circulated video showed the suspect standing on the edge of a balcony, threatening to jump and commit suicide.
