Scientists have discovered a giant coronal hole on the sun, which is 20 times the size of Earth. Astronomers from the Space Studies Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported that April begins with a strong magnetic storm. Experts from NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory captured an X-ray image of the sun and found that the plasma stream leaking from the coronal hole is traveling at a speed of 2.9 million kilometers per hour and will reach Earth this morning, April 1st.
