US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced today, Wednesday, that he held a video conference with officials from Cyprus, Britain, the UAE, Qatar, the European Union, and the United Nations to discuss the establishment and operation of a new maritime corridor for delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza. He noted that "once the corridor is established, it will allow for the distribution of up to two million meals in Gaza, where relief agencies say the ongoing war for the past five months between Israel and Hamas has pushed many residents to the brink of famine."
