International Meeting to Support the Lebanese Army in Italy

The Commander of the Army, Major General Joseph Aoun, participated in a support meeting for the army in Italy, attended by the military leaders of Italy, France, Spain, Germany, and Britain. Major General Aoun presented the situation of the army and the challenges it faces on various fronts, and ways to support and enhance its capabilities were discussed. Participants praised the army's role in maintaining security and stability and emphasized the importance of supporting it to overcome the exceptional difficulties during the current phase. Major General Aoun also met with Italian Defense Minister Gianfranco Annunziata, along with the Italian Army Commander, followed by a meeting with Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani and Director of External Intelligence General Giovanni Caravelli.
