Former head of the Progressive Socialist Party Walid Jumblatt wrote, in response to a video about British businessman Jacob Rothschild of Jewish descent on his account on the platform "X": "The Rothschild family determined the fate of Palestine with the Balfour Declaration, which constitutes a foundational pillar of British imperialism through the theft of Arab lands via settlements, the displacement of Palestinians, and the establishment of massacres."
