In protest against the chaos surrounding the public transport sector, particularly the small bus drivers, and upon the call of the General Labor Union in the North, the drivers held a demonstration at the Palma Bridge, partially blocking traffic in both directions. They raised their voices demanding that the Minister of Interior organize the sector by regulating buses that operate illegally, most of which belong to Syrians and Iraqis. Additionally, the public drivers blocked the road in front of the residence of the Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government, Bassam Mawlawi, in Tripoli.
