Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, fulfilled the wish of a Syrian orphan boy whose father was killed in the devastating earthquake by inviting him to Saudi Arabia to see Al Nassr club and his favorite player, Cristiano Ronaldo. Al-Sheikh shared a video on his Twitter account showing the arrival of the Syrian child along with his mother and siblings.

The boy expressed his joy at the realization of his dream, stating: "Thank you, His Excellency Turki Al-Sheikh, for this lovely invitation, and may Allah grant you everything you wish for, and I can’t believe I came to Saudi Arabia."

Reactions from social media users highlighted the fulfillment of the child's wish, with one remarking, "It took less than two weeks for the dream of the Syrian child to be realized by Turki Al-Sheikh, who comforted this child who has lived through tough days. May Allah make this country safe." Another user commented, "You said and acted, may Allah reward you and place it in your good deeds just as you comforted this child and his family; humanity is a gift from Allah."

The orphaned Syrian child had expressed to Emirati media personality Monzer Al-Mazki during a visit to Syria as part of the UAE relief campaign after the earthquake that struck both Syria and Turkey, his "wish to see star Cristiano Ronaldo, emphasizing his love for the Saudi Al Nassr club." The video of the Syrian child expressing his desire to visit the Kingdom and see Ronaldo went viral on social media, where he noted that "his father is dead."

In response, Turki Al-Sheikh tweeted at that time: "My son, you are welcome and bring your mother with you... Oh good people, who can connect us?"
