The newly elected Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, announced that the U.S. administration has not informed Congress about the final goal of the United States in the conflict in Ukraine, according to TASS. He stated, "We have concerns about managing the American people's money, and we want to know what the U.S. objective is in the conflict in Ukraine. The White House has not provided us with any information in this regard," emphasizing that "the U.S. administration needs to present a report on its spending on aid to Kyiv." He added, "We need to ensure that the White House is spending this money appropriately." Johnson declared that "issues related to U.S. aid to Israel and Ukraine should be discussed separately." Last week, the White House sent a request to Congress for additional budgetary funds to assist Israel and Ukraine. The U.S. administration seeks approximately $106 billion to aid Israel and Ukraine and to counter China in the Asia-Pacific region.
