Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan confirmed that "we will not discuss establishing relations with Israel before ceasing the fighting in Gaza, withdrawing Israeli forces, and starting a path to establish a Palestinian state." He emphasized that "we need a clear path toward establishing a Palestinian state before considering establishing relations with Israel." In a statement, he mentioned that "we need a ceasefire now more than ever, and it is unacceptable for fewer than 100 trucks to enter Gaza daily when the sector needs at least 500 trucks." Bin Farhan noted that "the Palestinian Authority is capable, with the support of the international community, of governing all Palestinian territories, and our partners in the international community support that the path to stability in the region and for Israel lies in establishing a Palestinian state."
