Mousa Abu Marzouq, a member of Hamas's Political Bureau, stated that "members in the Palestinian Authority and some Arab countries have secretly demanded the elimination of the movement," expressing astonishment at the "shameful stance of our brothers in the Authority in Ramallah." He added, "We hope that Egypt will take a decisive position to allow aid into the Gaza Strip as soon as possible," mentioning in an interview with Al Jazeera yesterday that "there are good voices among the Authority officials, but the rest of the voices are largely pretentious." He pointed out that many "foreigners" have informed him that members in the Palestinian Authority and some Arab states are secretly asking the West to eliminate "Hamas." Abu Marzouq affirmed that Hamas "calls on all friends and allies to join us in this confrontation, but frankly, we cannot stand as judges while we are at war against a fierce, powerful, arrogant, and terrorist enemy in every sense of the word."
