The Israeli army announced the discovery of a tunnel it claims belongs to Hamas, located within the Shifa Hospital complex in Gaza, which the army has been raiding since last Wednesday. On Thursday evening, the Israeli military released a video showing the entrance to the tunnel.
"Exposing another layer of Hamas’ exploitation of three of the largest hospitals in Gaza: Inside the Shifa Hospital complex, a Hamas terrorist tunnel was uncovered."
The Israeli army accused Hamas of using other hospitals for military purposes and published images of a "new tunnel" found beneath the Rantisi Hospital. They also shared a photo of a quantity of weapons and ammunition that were discovered inside Al-Quds Hospital.
"Inside the Al-Quds Hospital, a large amount of weaponry and ammunition were found. This was all found over the past 24 hours."
Earlier, the Israeli army accused Hamas of using Shifa Hospital for military purposes, stating that there is a network of tunnels and a command center for Hamas within the complex. Hamas denied the Israeli allegations, describing them as "lies" and "propaganda."
