Title: Schools Close Due to Security Conditions

Some private schools in the Central Bekaa have decided to close their doors tomorrow, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, due to the unstable conditions, as stated in their announcements. Minister of Education Abbas Halabi tasked the directors of public and private schools and vocational institutions with monitoring the situation and communicating with educational region heads and the concerned departments in the ministry regarding the decision to continue education or close educational institutions in areas at risk of shelling, in order to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and parents.
