Brothers Kill Their Cousin by Gunfire in Southern Iraq

A security source in Al-Diwaniyah province reported today, Sunday, that a young man in his twenties was shot dead by his cousins in the center of the province. The source stated that "three brothers carried out the murder of their cousin, born in 2002, by gunfire due to a dispute over a piece of agricultural land in the village of Sharmahi in the center of Al-Diwaniyah city." The source added that "the perpetrators fled to an unknown location, while the security forces cordoned off the crime scene and transported the body to forensic medicine to complete the legal procedures."
