Makkari After Meeting Several Ambassadors: We Hope Our Message Reaches Through Them

Minister of Information in the caretaker government, Ziad Makkari, wrote on the "X" platform: "A constructive meeting called by the United Nations envoy to Lebanon, Ambassador Joanna Fronciszka, gathered me with several ambassadors of various countries where we discussed Lebanese issues in our dialogue. I highlighted with numbers the impact of the Syrian displacement, and we discussed the security situation in the south, and of course, the media was present in the discussions. Here, I emphasized our commitment to the principle of freedoms. I thank the ambassadors of Finland, Poland, Belgium, Japan, Korea, Chile, Brazil, Austria, and Qatar for listening to our legitimate concerns, and we hope our message reaches through them to their countries for peace and justice."
