Bird Strike Incident Involving Saudi Airlines Aircraft

The General Director of Corporate Communications for Saudi Airlines, Eng. Abdullah Al-Shahrani, revealed details about the bird strike on a Saudi Airlines aircraft. In an interview with "Al Arabiya.net," he stated: "The incident occurred just before the aircraft's landing at Heathrow Airport in London. After arriving and while at the airport, the situation was assessed technically, and it was decided to replace the damaged part with new components." Al-Shahrani confirmed that such circumstances are part of the operational nature of flights, and Saudi Airlines pilots, after God's protection, are trained and qualified to handle such situations. Additionally, social media platforms circulated images of the bird after it collided with the wing of the Saudi Airlines aircraft. Those sharing the images confirmed that no passengers were harmed and praised the actions of the captain, stating that he acted with professionalism and wisdom to ensure the safety of the passengers.
