Korean singer Choi Sung Bong has passed away at the age of 33, after his body was found inside his home on Wednesday. Police arrived at the scene following a report of the incident, believing that the singer may have committed suicide, though they will continue their investigations amid shock and sadness among his fans.
The Korean musician wrote a long message that implied: "Hello, I am Choi Sung Bong, writing the last thing I send to my fans, I am already dead. Since 2011 until now, I have received attention and love from many people. I sincerely thank you and express my gratitude. Since this is my last post, I want to tell you about this dissatisfaction, but the love I have received over the years has grown tremendously. I am sincerely sorry for my foolish mistakes and to those who have been hurt."
The singer also spoke about a fake fundraising campaign, confirming that he returned all the money to the donors. According to local media, Choi Sung Bong deceived everyone in 2021 by claiming he had cancer to raise money from his fans, only for his supporters to later discover that the entire situation was a hoax initiated by the artist, leading to a significant loss of his fanbase.
