Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi delivered a message to the people before the upcoming presidential elections. During the opening of the "Story of a Homeland" conference, Sisi stated: "I want to say one thing to the people. You have an opportunity in the upcoming presidential elections. You have a chance for change. Whoever has a right will attain it." He added, "Many people will say that the opportunity for change is just talk, but say, 'O Allah, Owner of the Kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will and take the kingdom from whom You will, and You honor whom You will and humble whom You will; in Your Hand is all good. You are over all things competent.'" He continued, "An individual fights for their country, but their fate is in God's hands."
Sisi emphasized, "Everything is up to God," quoting the verse: "Say: 'O Allah, Owner of the Kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will and take the kingdom from whom You will; You honor whom You will and humble whom You will; in Your Hand is all good. You are over all things competent.'"
He added, "No state can build except on righteousness, and not through insult, destruction, dismantling, doubt, or injustice. For example, when I say about a work done by an official that this work is deficient, corrupt, or poorly studied, I am wronging them and undermining their efforts."
