Popular Reception of Pascal Sleiman's Funeral Procession with Flags, Tears, and Rice

Friends and supporters of Pascal Sleiman are preparing to receive his body in front of Our Lady of the Star Church in Kesrouan, holding his pictures and the flags of the Lebanese Forces party. The funeral procession for Pascal Sleiman has departed from the military hospital towards Jbeil, with a large number of cars carrying Lebanese Forces flags gathering at the River of Death in anticipation of the body’s arrival. Sleiman will be buried on Friday in Jbeil in a public funeral. Maronite Patriarch Bechara Pierre Rai will preside over the burial service at 1 PM in St. George's Church in Jbeil.
