U.S. President Joe Biden has invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for a meeting on Tuesday at the White House to discuss the ongoing war with Russia and the "critical importance" of continued U.S. support for Ukraine's defensive efforts. The White House stated that the two presidents will address Ukraine's "urgent needs." This comes as the White House seeks to reach an agreement with Congress to provide military aid to Ukraine and Israel. Zelensky’s office mentioned via Telegram that "the Ukrainian president will arrive in Washington tomorrow, Monday, and will meet with Biden during a working visit that will include 'a series of meetings and discussions'." It added that "Zelensky will discuss a number of key topics during his visit, including defense cooperation between the United States and Ukraine, particularly through joint projects for weapons production and air defense systems, as well as coordinating efforts between our countries in the coming year."
