Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the world has never been closer to the brink of World War III than it is now, expressing confidence in his ability to prevent such conflicts. Speaking to his supporters in Iowa, Trump said, "I don't think we have ever been at risk of World War III as we are now. And as I say in every speech I give, I will prevent World War III; I am aware of all these people."
The Republican Trump affirmed that, under the administration of his successor Joe Biden, the United States has become a "weak and ineffective nation" whose opinion is not taken into account on the global stage. He added, "Biden is extremely incompetent. The only thing he knows how to do is cheat in elections." He continued, "They (the Democrats) are skilled at rigging election results, and they are also skilled at persecuting their political opponents. They cannot do anything else."
