Major Advertising Companies Boycott Elon Musk Over Accusations Against Jews

American entrepreneur Elon Musk is facing a significant boycott from major government and corporate players around the world regarding advertising on the platform X, due to accusations that he claimed Jews are spreading hatred in the world. Among the companies that announced their boycott are “giant IBM, which decided yesterday to ban all its advertisements on X,” as well as Apple, which announced a ban on all its advertisements on the platform. The European Union has requested that all executive services in the union stop displaying advertisements on X. Additionally, companies like Gilead Sciences and the large company Adobe are involved.

These companies have accused Musk of supporting the notion that "Jews spread hatred and then claim victimhood," which is considered anti-Semitic. Musk announced that he would file a lawsuit against Media Matters and others, after major American companies temporarily halted their advertisements on his social media site due to concerns about “anti-Semitism.”

The media monitoring organization "Media Matters" stated earlier this week that it found advertisements from companies such as "IBM," "Apple," "Oracle," and "Comcast" placed alongside content classed as “anti-Semitic,” including ads praising Adolf Hitler and the Nazis. This led to a number of significant names in technology and media withdrawing their advertisements.

Musk wrote in a post on “X” (formerly known as Twitter): “As soon as the court opens its doors on Monday, X Corp will file a lawsuit against Media Matters and all those who conspired in this fraudulent attack on our company.”
