Maersk: Container Ship Targeted by Missile on its Way to Saudi Arabia

A Yemeni maritime source announced that the Houthis forced a container ship bound for Israel to change its course. According to the maritime source's comments, "the detained ship is on its way to Yemeni ports." For its part, the Danish shipping company "Maersk" confirmed that its container ship "Maersk Jebel Tarik" was targeted by a missile while en route from Salalah in Oman to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, and that the ship and its crew are safe. It was not immediately clear whether the missile hit the ship or not. Maersk stated in a release, "At this time, we are still working to ascertain the facts surrounding the incident."
