Hamás Leader: We Reject Displacing Gaza Residents to the Sinai Peninsula

A leader in the Hamas movement, Ghazi Hamad, asserted today, Saturday, that "we demand the immediate implementation of the General Assembly's decision to quickly send aid to Gaza," and emphasized the necessity of opening the Rafah crossing immediately. During a speech at a press conference from Beirut, Hamad stated: "We reject the displacement of our Palestinian people in Gaza to Sinai," noting that "the U.S. administration and the Western countries supporting the aggression are complicit with the occupation in this genocidal war." He clarified that "the Al-Qassam Brigades repelled an Israeli advance attempt, inflicting heavy losses on their soldiers and equipment," adding: "We call for the expulsion of Israeli ambassadors from Arab and Islamic countries," considering that "Arab and Islamic countries should pressure the interests of countries supporting the Israeli aggression."
