Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmed Yıldız announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan plans to visit Iraq before the end of April. Yıldız stated, during his visit to Baghdad, that "according to the planning and preparations, Erdoğan's visit to Iraq will take place before the end of April." According to the Turkish Anadolu Agency, Yıldız is set to hold discussions today in Baghdad at the Iraqi Foreign Ministry regarding bilateral relations and preparations for a ministerial meeting that will take place in the near future and President Erdoğan's visit.
