Israeli Army: We Targeted Hamas Leaders Close to Sinwar and Ismail Haniyeh

Israeli Army spokesperson Avichai Adraee stated that "two strong strikes were carried out on different underground compounds." He explained via social media that "in the first compound, several senior Hamas leaders were hiding, including the commander of the northern Gaza brigade, Ahmed al-Ghandour, and the commander of the movement's rocket force, Ayman Sayam." He pointed out that "in the second compound that was targeted, a number of senior leaders from Hamas's political wing were hiding, including Ruhi Mushtaha, who is close to Yahya Sinwar." Adraee noted that "the location that was targeted also housed the head of government operations in Hamas, Issam al-Dalilis, who is close to Ismail Haniyeh, in addition to Samah al-Saraj and other leaders," emphasizing that "Hamas is trying to conceal the results of the strikes, and we confirm that the underground infrastructure was severely hit."
