Moscow stated today, Friday, that it has repelled all attempts by Ukrainian-aligned fighters to seize land in areas located on the Russian side of the border, following an increase in attacks this week ahead of the Russian presidential elections. The Defense Ministry said, "Over the past three days, from March 12 to 14, soldiers from the Russian Armed Forces have thwarted all attempts by Ukrainian militants to infiltrate the territories of the Belgorod and Kursk regions belonging to the Russian Federation."
