Real Madrid Extends Forward Rodrigo's Contract Until 2028

Real Madrid has announced the extension of Brazilian forward Rodrigo's contract until 2028. The 22-year-old joined Real Madrid from Brazilian club Santos in 2019 when he was 18 years old. He has scored 39 goals in 179 matches and won eight titles, including two La Liga championships, as well as the UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, and Copa del Rey.

The Spanish club stated on its website: "Real Madrid and Rodrigo have reached an agreement to extend the player's contract to remain with the club until June 30, 2028." Rodrigo played a key role in Real Madrid's 14th Champions League victory in 2022, scoring crucial goals in the knockout rounds of the tournament and netting two goals in the 2-1 win over Osasuna in the Copa del Rey final last season.
