Essential Oils for Preventing Respiratory Infections

Cases of "COVID-19," which currently has symptoms similar to acute respiratory infections, are increasing worldwide according to doctors. To prevent viral respiratory infections during winter, inhaling the scents of natural essential oils is beneficial. Dr. Sergey Chudakov notes that among these scents are eucalyptus, camphor, almond, rose, cinnamon, geranium, and others. According to him, essential oils can affect all organs and systems of the human body, including improving cardiovascular performance with rosemary and basil oils, supporting the musculoskeletal system with cedar, pine, and lavender, and aiding the stomach with coriander, ginger, and fennel. He states, "Five minutes is enough for the essential oils to enter the body through the respiratory system and stimulate the immune system." It is preferable to use steam from essential oils that are not heated as occurs in aroma lamps. Chudakov warns against using industrial products as they do not contain beneficial properties for the body.
