Deputy Tony Franjieh discussed with UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Joanna Fronczak, the latest political and economic developments in Lebanon, as well as the issue of Syrian displaced persons and the need to find appropriate solutions through coordination with all concerned parties. This, according to a statement from Franjieh's office, "opens the door for the safe return of every Syrian refugee on Lebanese territory." The necessity to put an end to the presidential vacuum that Lebanon is experiencing as soon as possible was also emphasized, in order to be able to launch the wheel of administrative and economic reform, which would alleviate the severity of the current crisis on Lebanese citizens.
