Jaafar: Hezbollah Ready to Elect President Tomorrow Only if Agreement is Reached on Frangieh

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Jaafar indicated that "Hezbollah's Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naeem Qassem said that we are ready to go to the presidential election tomorrow with an agreement, regardless of all existing developments." Jaafar considered that "what Sheikh Naeem meant is that his party is fully prepared to elect a president tomorrow, provided there is an exclusive agreement on former Minister Suleiman Frangieh; otherwise, neither the agreement nor the election is possible for Sheikh Naeem, but rather stagnation in vacancy and obstruction."
