Civil defense personnel extinguished a fire that broke out inside a car at the airport tunnel in the southern suburbs of Beirut at 8:20 PM on January 9, 2024. The damages were limited to material losses, and there was heavy traffic congestion. The cause of the car fire beside the road is not yet known.
