Ceremony for the Receipt of a Donation from Britain to the Lebanese Army

The Army Command stated that "a ceremony was held at the Logistics Brigade in Kfarchim for the receipt of spare parts for vehicles, a donation from the British authorities to the Lebanese Army, attended by the British Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Hamish Cowell, the Commander of the Logistics Brigade representing Army Commander General Joseph Aoun, and several officers." Ambassador Cowell affirmed the United Kingdom's continued cooperation with the Lebanese Army and the provision of various forms of support, given its essential role in ensuring stability and civil peace in Lebanon. Moreover, Brigadier General Johnny Akal, Commander of the Logistics Brigade, expressed gratitude to the British authorities for the donation, considering it a reinforcement of the logistical and operational capabilities of the military institution and a demonstration of continued British support during this critical phase.
