The "Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades" announced in a statement, "Trusting in God, and fulfilling our duty in the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, and in defense of Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and being part of the struggle with our people in Palestine, especially our people in the steadfast Gaza and its great resistance, we have taken a step on the path to liberation and return by carrying out a concentrated rocket attack on the settlements of Western Galilee from Southern Lebanon. Our resistance efforts will continue until the occupation and aggression are repelled and the goals of our people for freedom, liberation, purifying the blessed Al-Aqsa, restoring Jerusalem and the holy sites, achieving our right of return, securing the release of our valiant prisoners, and breaking the siege on steadfast Gaza are realized."
