Prostitution Under Your Nose in Al-Dawra

It has been reported to "Al-Markazia" that security patrols affiliated with the General Security carried out a surprise military operation late Friday into Saturday, during which several girls who had been standing on the streets of the Al-Dawra area at night were arrested. Information indicated that these patrols will be repeated in multiple areas to combat prostitution and drug trafficking networks. Residents of the Al-Bouchrieh area and Mar Youssef Street in Al-Dawra had issued a call regarding this issue, stating that the security situation in their area had become abnormal due to nighttime lawlessness. They indicated in a statement that "the youth of the area will work to cleanse it of the prostitution networks that are present at night from Al-Dawra to Almaza Company (foreigners, Lebanese, LGBTQ), as their presence and the commotion they cause have led to an increase in strangers, robbery incidents, and drug trafficking. They affirmed that this statement serves as a warning to 'all these individuals to leave the area before residents take to the streets to forcibly expel them.'"
